VESTAVIA, Ala. — The Belhaven Men's Soccer team battled hard but came up short on Tuesday afternoon, falling 1-0 to undefeated Sewanee at the Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex.
After a scoreless first half, Sewanee broke through in the 68th minute giving the Tigers the lone goal in the match.
The Blazers generated nine shots on the afternoon, with Wesley Bloodworth leading the attack with five attempts, including two on the net. Graham Harris and Avery Anders also added chances, but Sewanee's defense held firm throughout.
In goal, reigning CCS Defensive Player of the Week Danny Bahena had four saves.
