Belhaven Women’s Soccer Falls to Rhodes

JACKSON, MISS. — Belhaven Women's Soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to Rhodes College on Thursday night at Belhaven Bowl Stadium.

The Lynx (5-0-1) struck early, finding the back of the net in the sixth minute mark to give Rhodes a 1-0 advantage. The teams played scoreless soccer for the next 75 minutes before Rhodes added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute.

Belhaven (2-2-2) recorded one shot on goal, coming on a free kick from Emma Antonoplos.

Addi Roberts registered three saves while facing five shots in the match.

Belhaven wraps up their three-game homestand with a match against Tougaloo College on Tuesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM.
