Comments from the Coaching World
Andy Bronkema, Head Men's Basketball Coach, Central Michigan University
"Boomer is a true leader of men. His people first approach produces teams that play for each other. His fast aggressive style on the court will be exciting for the fans to watch. The Jackson community is definitely going to enjoy the whole Roberts family."
Caleb Kimbrough, Head Men's Basketball Coach, Hampden-Sydney College
"I've known Boom for several years now, and he's become a close and trusted friend in this profession. He's a national champion and a proven winner, but what truly sets him apart is how deeply he cares for people. He's a man of faith who leads with integrity, encourages those around him, and pours into his players well beyond the game. Boomer is the ultimate competitor, and I have no doubt he's going to elevate the Belhaven basketball program in every way on and off the court."
Mark Campbell, Athletic Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach, Union University
"Boomer Roberts is the most genuine, passionate and respected men I know! He is far more than a competent basketball coach! He is a leader of young men. He develops relationships, he teaches and he loves watching "his guys" become Men! This is coaching! I would trust him to coach my sons! He is a guy you just want to be around!"
Roberts and his wife, Brittney, have three sons: Griffin, Trey, and Jett.
