ATLANTA, Ga. - Belhaven Women's Soccer senior full back Reagan Nichols has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Nichols delivered a standout two-way performance to help the Blazers complete an undefeated week in conference play. The Sugar Land, Texas native played a pivotal role in back-to-back shutout victories, anchoring a defensive unit that did not allow a goal across two matches.

In addition to her defensive efforts, Nichols shined on the offensive end in Belhaven's 4-0 road win over LaGrange, scoring twice on penalty kicks in the first half.

This is the second time in her career that Nichols has earned CCS Defensive Player of the Week honors. She was previously recognized by the conference on October 3, 2023, following another strong defensive showing during her junior season.

Nichols and the Blazers take on Faulkner later tonight at Belhaven Bowl Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM.
