JACKSON - Wyatt Beck (Baton Rouge, La.) of the Belhaven Football team and Lillian Harvey (Greenwood, Miss.) of the Belhaven Women's Soccer team team have been named the C Spire Athletes of the Week following their strong performances in competition for the Blazers from last Wednesday thru this past Tuesday.

Beck, the dependable senior linebacker, had nine tackles, a season-best two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks last weekend vs. Methodist. It was the fifth game this season Beck had at least nine tackles.

Harvey, a senior who was recently named to the CCS All-Conference team, had two assists in last week's 3-0 win vs. Hendrix to end the regular season.

Beck and the Blazers travel to Southern Virginia on Saturday to face off against the Knights. Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM.

Harvey and the women's soccer team await their opponent in the CCS Semifinals next Tuesday.
