Box Score 1 ORLANDO, Fla. - The Belhaven's Men's and Women's Tennis teams dropped a pair of matches on Tuesday to St. Scholastica and St. Norbert in the second day of the Spring Break Tennis Tournament Powered by USTA.

WOMEN

The Blazers fell in their opening match of the day, 7-0, to St. Scholastica. In the No. 2 Doubles match, Evey Moore and Lillian Williams put up a valiant fight but ultimately fell short, 8-4. In the second match of the day, Belhaven battled St. Norbert to the end but were unable to pick up a point in the match.

MEN

On the Men's side, Belhaven earned two points in the opening match against St. Scholastica. Abraham Gonzalez outlasted his counterpart in the No. 1 Singles match, 2-6, 7-5, 10-5. Jesus Diaz picked up a victory for the Green and Gold in the No. 3 Singles.

Match No. 2 of the day went down to the wire with the Blazers ultimately falling, 5-4. Diaz combined with Josiah Leggett to earn the No. 2 Doubles match by a score of 8-6. Mark Breedlove and Hayden Lassiter won the No. 3 Doubles match. In singles action, Gonzalez won his match, 6-2, 7-6, with Lassiter also grabbing victory by a score of 6-2, 6-3.

The Blazers wrap up their time in Orlando with matches against Loras College and the University of Scranton tomorrow at 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
