PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team picked up their fifth non-conference win of the season on Tuesday, taking down Pensacola Christian, 2-1, at Eagle Field. 

From the outset, it was the Blazers who dominated the offensive opportunities. Belhaven had a flurry of shots in the early going before Samuel Hadley found the back of the net in the 16th minute to give the Blazers a 1-0 advantage.

Coming out of the half, Belhaven once again produced several scoring chances with three shots on target in the first three minutes of the second half. Courtland Williams capped off the fast start with a goal in the 48th minute to push the lead to 2-0 in favor of the Green and Gold.

Pensacola Christian found a late goal in the 84th minute, but the Blazers held on over the final minutes to secure a 2-1 win over the host Eagles. For the match, the Blazers fired 14 shots on goals while limiting the opposition to just three.

Belhaven begins a three-match homestand to conclude the regular season on Saturday, October 19th when Piedmont visits Belhaven Bowl Stadium for Senior Day. Kickoff between the Blazers and Lions is set for noon.
