DECATUR, Ga. - The Belhaven Women's Soccer team picked up a dominant 5-0 victory over Agnes Scott on Saturday led by
Kaci Craft's hat trick and a brace from
Emma Antonoplos.
Despite a dominant start, the Blazers would have to wait until the 23rd minute for the opening goal when
Kaci Craft scored from the penalty spot and fired the Blazers in front. Just a few minutes later,
Emma Antonoplos doubled the Belhaven lead with a goal at the half hour mark.
Leading 2-0 at the break, the Blazers once again would see a scoring flurry early in the second half as Craft grabbed a brace with a 53rd minute goal that put Belhaven in front 3-0. Craft then grabbed her hat trick just two minutes later before Antonoplos sealed the victory with a 64th minute goal, her second of the match.Â
Craft now leads the Blazers with seven goals on the season and has had a dominant month of October as six of her seven goals have come since the start of the month and in conference play.
Emma Antonoplos now leads the Blazers in total goal contributions with four goals and five assists across 12 matches so far.Â
The Blazers improve to 9-4 on the season with the win and 4-2 in conference play. The Blazers will return to Belhaven Bowl Stadium this week for the Riverside Derby against Millsaps on Tuesday and then Senior Day against Asbury on Saturday.
