LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team battled to a tough scoreless draw on Saturday against Covenant College in what was a rematch of the 2023 CCS Championship Game.

A tight game from the opening kickoff, the Blazers' stingy defensive record continued as they recorded their 6th clean sheet of the season. In the first half the Blazers were marginally outshot by the Scots 7-5 but had the better of the chances in the second half and generated eight shots to Covenant's seven.

Danny Bahena made three saves on the day as the team in front of him did well to limit clear-cut scoring chances for the hosts. On the year, Belhaven is allowing under a goal per match and has now conceded just nine across 13 matches.

The draw moves the Blazers to 6-3-4 on the season and 2-1-1 in conference action. Belhaven will return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Pensacola Christian before returning to the Bowl Stadium for Senior Day against Piedmont on Saturday.
