ATLANTA, Ga.-
Jacob Reese of the Belhaven Men's Basketball team was named CCS Player of the Week for his outstanding play this past weekend against Maryville and Berea.
Reese was a force on the glass this past weekend as he led the Blazers in rebounds in both games. Against Maryville, Reese scored 13 points on a very efficient 5-8 from the field and tied his season high in rebounds with 17 in the Blazer's nine point loss.
At Berea, Reese played a big role in the Blazers come from behind win by scoring 16 points and 22 rebounds, which is the second most in a single game in program history. Reese currently leads the CCS in rebounds per game with 12.3 and is tied for seventh in the country.
The Blazers are currently 12-6 and sit second in the conference as they look to improve their standings against LaGrange and Piedmont this week.
