LAGRANGE, Ga. - The Belhaven Baseball team dropped the final game of a three-game series at No. 9 LaGrange (21-7, 9-0 CCS) 11-1 on Friday at Cleaveland Field.
A solo home run in the 2nd put the Panthers on top early. The home team added another run in the 3rd before plating a pair in the 4th to take a 4-0 lead.
The Blazers scored their lone run of the game in the 5th as Nick Lucido singled to center, driving in Dawson Albin.
The Panthers got that run back plus interest in the bottom half to take a 6-1 lead into the 6th. A five-run 6th gave LaGrange a 10-run lead, and the Blazers were unable to plate a run the following inning to avoid the run rule.
