BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Belhaven Men's and Women's Tennis teams fell on the road at Birmingham-Southern on Saturday as the 2023 season gets underway. The Belhaven Men fell to the Panthers 9-0 on the day while the Women were beaten 6-1 by the hosts. 

WOMEN'S

It was a tough day for the Blazers' women who fell in each of their three doubles matches against the Panthers' team. Judith Mills picked up the loan singles win for the Blazers on the day as she led 2-1 in the first set when her opponent had to retire from the match.

MEN'S 

Belhaven came up empty on the Men's side of the action on Saturday as they fell in the three doubles matches to start before falling on the singles side of competition as well. 

The blazers will now have a couple of weeks off before returning to action at home against MUW on Wednesday, March 1st. The Blazers will host the Owls at 1 PM at Parham Bridges Tennis Club.
