JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Women's Soccer team stayed perfect in conference play so far this season as they took down Agnes Scott 5-0 at the Belhaven Bowl Stadium on Saturday.

The Blazers cruised to the victory in large part due to their fast start that saw them jump in front early. Abby Linn got the Blazers' opening goal in just the 11th minute, the first of what would be a first half brace for the Frisco, Texas native.

Linn got her second on the night less than eight minutes later as she lobbed one past the goalkeeper in the 18th minute to double the Belhaven advantage. Emma Antonoplos would then make it three first half goals for the Blazers as she fired home a shot in the 28th minute on a ball that deflected in front of her in the box. 

Chances in the second half were a little harder to come by for the Blazers who maintained their three goal lead across the bulk of the second 45 minutes. Belhaven would get their well deserved fourth of the night in the 83rd minute as Sofi Restrepo curled in a first time cross that Kaci Craft tapped past the Scotties goalie. 

Belhaven tacked on one more for good measure as Sofi Restrepo would get her goal, this time from a 90th minute corner that she headed on target and took a deflection past the goalkeeper.

The Blazers dominated the match from start to finish and continue to add to a strong home record that sees them 5-0 and outscoring opposition 23-0. 

Belhaven improves to 9-2-1 on the season and 6-0 in conference play as they strengthen their hold at the top of the Collegiate Conference of the South standings.

The Blazers return to action on Tuesday, October 10th as they travel to in-town rival Millsaps for non-conference action. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM.
