JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team was victorious over Millsaps on Wednesday night, taking down the Majors by a final of 5-0. The Blazers run their unbeaten streak against the Majors to six, dating back to 2016.

The Blazers were on the attack early and often, putting up four shots on goal in the opening 10 minutes of play. The scoring started just minutes later as Igor Rudolph scored his third goal of the season in the 18th minute. The second of the match came from the spot as Courtland Williams converted a penalty kick to give Belhaven a 2-0 advantage.

The Blazers were not done in the opening half as Koby Rhone found the back of the net in the 35th minute to extend the lead.

The second half commenced with yet another Blazer goal as Williams beat the Majors' keeper in the 47th minute for the second time on the night to put the Green and Gold in front 4-0. Freshman Adrian Sanchez opened his Belhaven account a few minutes later to put an exclamation point on a Blazers' 5-0 rivalry win.

It was a dominant night for Belhaven, who finished 34 shots with 16 on target. The five goals scored marked a season high for the Blazers.

Belhaven wraps up regular season play on Saturday when they travel to Demorest, Georgia, to take on Piedmont. Kickoff is set for 2:00 PM.
