JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team battled visiting Huntingdon to a scoreless draw on Wednesday at the Belhaven Bowl Stadium.
Goalkeeper
Max Rudolph was called into action early in just the 5th minute as the veteran made his first of three saves on the night. The Blazers were able to get several shots on target in the opening 45 minutes of play, but the Hawks' keeper came up with stops to keep things scoreless into the half.
In the second half, Belhaven seemed the more likely threat to find the opener but were unable to connect. Several late pushes by the Blazers were turned away by the Hawks, including a late corner in the waning seconds. The final shot went high as time expired to end the conference match at a 0-0 stalemate. In total, Belhaven outshot Huntingdon 29-4 overall and 7-3 in shots on goal.
Belhaven travels to LaGrange on Friday, October 13th to take on the Panthers in CCS action. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM.
