JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Men's Soccer team (2 - 2 - 1) batted with the Millsaps College Majors (1-4-1) on Monday evening in non-conference action at Harper Davis Field. 

Rivalry games are always a special occasion. In a rivalry that has not surfaced since 2019, the match displayed intensity shots galore. Unfortunately the Blazers could not pull away. 

Dalton Morgan opened the scoring on the night as his header from inside the six yard box just beat the opposing keeper in the 20th minute again, provided by yet another Brady Jacobs assist. It was smooth sailing for the Blazers as they approached halftime. However, Millsaps would respond in the 56th minute to level the score line 1-1. The match would take both overtime periods to try and find a game-winner. However, the Blazers would come up short as the game ended in a draw. 

The Blazers had 34 shots in the night. Forward Dalton Morgan recorded his 4th goal of the season in five games. Brady Jacobs picked up his 6th goal contribution (1 goal and 5 assists) of the season. Max Rudolph made 8 saves as he had another good performance in the net. 

The Blazers will return to the Bowl on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:30 pm against Hardin- Simmons University.
