LONGVIEW, Texas - The Belhaven University Men's Soccer team fell on the road against the YellowJackets of LeTorneau University by a final of 4-1 on Saturday, March 20.
The YellowJackets scored two goals in each half of the match with the first coming just two minutes apart in the 20th and 22nd minute, while holding the Blazers scoreless in the first half. The two goals in the second half came in the 48th and 87th minute for the YellowJackets as the Blazers lone goal came in the 87th minute with
Brady Jacobs scoring his second of the season.
The Blazers had ten shots with three on-goal, while facing 13 shots with seven on-goal and
Max Rudolph made three saves during the match.
The Blazers are now 2-3 overall and 2-2 in ASC play and will return to action as they host the East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Tuesday, March 23. The action on the pitch is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
