RICHARDSON, Texas - The Belhaven volleyball team fell in their doubleheader at #6 UT-Dallas on Wednesday dropping both matchups against the Comets.
After defeating Louisiana College in a pair of matches in Pineville, La. on Tuesday, the Blazers traveled to UT-Dallas to continue the latter part of their 2021 campaign.
Taking on the #6 Comets, the Blazers fell in straight sets (25-15, 25-10, 25-8) in the first match on Wednesday afternoon. In the first match,
Grace Eidson led Belhaven with eight assists while
Sydney McEachern posted a team-high nine digs.
Eidson and McEachern continued to lead the way in second match for Belhaven despite the Blazers falling in straight sets (25-11, 25-19, 25-12). Eidson posted 14 assists as she continues to extend her team high total on the season which now sits at 166. McEachern finished with 16 digs and now holds a team-high of 163 on the year.
The Blazers return to action inside Rugg Arena on March 25th when they host LeTourneau University for the final ASC matchup of the season.
