PINEVILLE, La. - The Belhaven University men's soccer team defeated Louisiana College 1-0 to give the Blazers their first win of the season. With the win, the Blazers move to 1-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play. 

Forward Brady Jacobs scored the first and only goal in the match in the 16th minute as the Blazers beat the Wildcats by a final score of 1-0.

The Blazers took 14 shots for the match, with five of them being on goal, while goalkeeper Max Rudolph saved three shots in goal. Dalton had three shots in the match, while four Blazers tallied two shots in the contest.

Belhaven will return to action on Saturday, March 6 against East Texas Baptist University Tigers in Marshall, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
