THACKERVILLE, Okla. - The Belhaven Men's Golf team finished play at the University of Dallas Crusader Invitational on Tuesday, completing the two day, two round tournament at the Winstar Golf Club.

Belhaven finished in 11th place out of 13 competitors, but the Blazers improved their team score in the second round by 20 strokes. The Blazers finished the Invitational with a team score of 634 (327-307).

Will Justice was a key performer for the Blazers in the tournament firing a 156 (84-72), while Junior Luke Couch finished just two strokes behind Justice at 158. Couch had the best individual score for the Blazers in the first round of the tournament with a 81. Crue Baldwin posted a final score of 164 (83-81) in the two day tournament. Jake Ware and Collin Duplechain both finished the Invitational with a score of 167. Rounding out the scoring for the Blazers was Elijah Ellis who concluded the tournament with (95-91).

The Blazers will return to the links on October 25-26 at the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate in Mount Berry, Ga. The Collegiate will be hosted by Berry College.
