JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven Women's Basketball team fell at home to #20 University of Texas at Dallas by a 111-66 final score.
Belhaven kept pace with the visitors early in the first quarter and with 4:12 remaining, the Blazers tied the game at 14 on a pair of free throws from
Mariah Collins.
Peyton Papenburg hit a late three in the second quarter to cut the game to 53-37 in favor of UT-Dallas.
The visitors pulled away in the second half handing the Blazers the loss.
As a team, Belhaven shot 19-63 from the field and 8-31 from behind the arc.
Peyton Papenburg led the way for the Blazers with 18 points going 4-10 from beyond the three point line.
