The lone goal of the match came in the 65th minute as senior midfielder
Nathan Ratzlaff used a throw in to get the ball just outside the box, then junior midfielder
James Dempsey flicked the ball into the attacking box and junior forward finished
Brendan Koehn finished off the attack by finding the back of the net, breaking the scoreless tie, and giving the Blazers the lead. The Blazers held off all attacking and scoring chances for the Majors during the last 25 minutes to secure the win.
The Blazers improve to 4-0 on the early season and return to action on Thursday, September 19, in their first road match of the year against Mississippi University for Women. The match is set to kickoff at 7 p.m.
