ABILENE, Texas - The Belhaven Blazers volleyball team fell to the Sul Ross State Lobos, 3-1, in their second match of the ASC Crossover on Friday, October 18.

Sophomore Callista Moore led the Blazers with 11 kills and was third in digs with 11. Sophomore Chelsea Creighton led the team in aces with three, was second in kills with nine and third in blocks with one, while sophomore Kristin Fogan lead the team in digs with 28 and was third on the team with two assists. Sophomores Grace Eidson and Grace Laukhuf were first and second on the team in assists with 17 and 12 respectively, while freshman VIvian Marquez was third on the team in kills with eight and second on the team in aces with two.

Senior Evelyn Parker led the team in blocks with four, while freshman Izabella Erickson was second in blocks with two. Junior Megan Nobles finished the match second in digs with 14 and third in aces with one.

The Blazers fall to 7-17 overall and 2-10 in conference play and will return to action on Saturday, October 19, as they face off against the McMurry University War Hawks to finish out their play in the ASC Crossover.
