LAGRANGE, Ga.  - The Belhaven University men's soccer team fell to LaGrange College Saturday night by a final score of 4-1.

LaGrange took a comfortable 3-0 lead heading into the second half of the match, scoring goals at the 17:21 and 9:52 marks. Up 2-0 LaGrange found a way to find the back of the net one more time before halftime, scoring with 0:03 seconds left.  

Down 3-0, Alex Hale scored an unassisted goal to bring the green and gold within a 3-1 score, just ten minutes into the start of the second half. 

However, LaGrange punched one more into the net to take a 4-1 advantage. The Blazers were unable to complete a comeback, falling by a final score of 4-1.

UP NEXT

The Blazers will have a few days off for Labor Day before returning to the road to play Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas next Tuesday, September 4th. Belhaven and Hendrix are set for a 4:00 p.m. start time.
