BELTON, Texas. - The Belhaven University softball team fell twice more on Saturday afternoon at Mary Hardin-Baylor in American Southwest Conference play.
It's the first time this season that the Blazers have been swept.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Game one
- Â In the bottom of the fourth, the game was delayed yesterday due to lightning, and then officially postponed until today where play picked back up.
- The Cru got a base runner on and in scoring position when the game restarted, but Jordan Herring and the Blazers' defense got out of the inning still leading 1-0.
- Danielle Darmohray hit her third home run of the season in the top of the fifth to put Belhaven ahead 2-0.
- However, UMHB would add four runs in the next half inning including a two-run home run as they propelled ahead by a score of 4-2.
- Â The Blazers would strand a base runner in the sixth as they still trailed by two runs.
- In the top of the seventh, the Blazers tied things back up with some timely hitting and smart baserunning.
- Toni Wilson reached on an error and then Danielle Darmohray slapped a single down the left field line to place two runners on with nobody out.
- Brianna Dollar laid down a sacrifice bunt to advance the runners, and then Marissa Rice connected on an RBI single to score Wilson from third.
- Brittany Chetta scored from second on the play to tie up the game at 4-4.
- Jordan Herring tossed two huge strikeouts in the bottom of the seventh to force the game into extra innings.
- Mary Hardin-Baylor would win the game with a walk-off single to right field to take the second game of the series 5-4.

Game two
- UMHB scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the first on an RBI single to take a 1-0 advantage.
- Belhaven was held hitless through the first three innings of the contest.
- Makayla Reed collected the first hit for BU in the top of the fourth on an infield single.
- A solo home run in the bottom of the fourth out to left field put the Cru ahead 2-0.
- A double off of the left field wall scored another run for Mary Hardin-Baylor as they took a 3-0 lead. - The inning continued with another run scored off of an error which made it a 4-0 game.
- Belhaven scored its first run in the top of the fifth on an RBI single through the left side from Brittany Chetta to close the gap down to 4-1.
- With the bases loaded, Meg Garton notched an RBI single up the middle to cut the lead down to 4-2.
- The Blazers were unable to score any more runs in the fifth after a double play ended the inning.
- UMHB added another run of insurance in the top of the 6th to pull back ahead by three runs at 5-2.
- Belhaven got one run back in the top of the 7th after Meg Garton smashed an RBI double off the center field wall.
