HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blazer defense faced multiple shots early on from McMurry, but were able to hold off the War Hawks for the time being.
- Yadi Satterwhite and Emily Malcom posted the only shots on-goal for the Blazers in the first half.
- McMurry stayed on the offensive attack with multiple shots on target, but the Blazer defense kept the match scoreless.
- The War Hawks broke through in the 26th minute with their first goal of the match off of a goal inside the box on a deflection.
- McMurry lead 1-0 at halftime.
- In the 47th minute, MCM added another goal from short distance inside the box to take a 2-0 advantage.
- Amber Thomas posted a shot on-goal later on in the half, but was unable to find the back of the net.
- Despite facing several more shots on-goal, Belhaven was able to shutout McMurry in the final 40 minutes of action.
