HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans and the Blazers went back and forth for the majority of the first set.
- Down 19-18 late in the first set, Aurora went on a 6-2 run to end the first set by a score of 25-20.
- The Blazers struggled to put points on the board and found themselves trailing 12-4 midway through the second set.
- Down 20-12, the Green and Gold went on a 5-2 run to bring the score to 22-17.
- However, the Spartans would close out the set by winning the final three points to claim the 25-17 set victory.
- Aurora dominated the set and never allowed Belhaven to find an offensive spark.
- The Spartans went on to earn the 25-10 set victory and the match.
