ST. LOUIS, Missouri - The Belhaven Volleyball team fell to Wartburg and Millikin University on Saturday afternoon 3-0 in both contests, in St. Louis, Missouri.
The Blazers closed out the season Saturday, falling to 10-19 overall.
WARTBURG UNIVERSITY
SET 1: Wartburg 25 - Belhaven 16
Belhaven trailed 12-10 early in the first set before Wartburg was able to use an 8-0 rally to stretch the lead to 18-10. Wartburg and Belhaven exchanged points before Wartburg closed the set out with three straight points to win 25-16.
SET 2: Wartburg 25 - Belhaven 16
Wartburg jumped out to a quick 7-1 advantage before Belhaven was able to make a run to take a 9-8 lead. Wartburg however won nine of the next eleven points to take a 17-10 lead. Wartburg cruised to its second straight 25-16 set win to take a 2-0 win.
SET 3: Wartburg 25 - Belhaven 19
Belhaven looked to be in control in the third set, taking a 6-2 lead in the first part of the set. Wartburg rallied back to eventually tie Belhaven up at 12-12. Both teams traded points and remained tied at 15-15 before Wartburg gained some separation at 23-17. Wartburg went on to win 25-19 and take the match 3-0.

SET 1: Millikin 25 - Belhaven 20
Millikin took control from the beginning, taking a seven point, 13-6 lead. Belhaven closed the gap down to two points, 21-19, before Millikin sealed the 25-20 set one win.
SET 2: Millikin 25 - Belhaven 19
Similar to the previous set, Millikin took a quick 15-9 lead midway through the set. Belhaven continued to claw back into the set, working its way back within an 18-16 difference. Millikin won the finally seven of ten points to win set two 25-19.
SET 3: Millikin 25 - Belhaven 16
Belhaven fell behind early in the third set, trailing 10-1. Belhaven could not gather any sort of run as a team, falling to Millikin 25-16 in the final set and falling 3-0 in the contest.
