HOW IT HAPPENED
- For the majority of the contest, neither team could find the back of the net to break a scoreless game.
- In the first half of play, Belhaven outshot the Tigers 3-2.
- The score remained knotted at 0-0 entering the break.
- The second half looked to turn out the same as both the Blazers and Tigers could not separate from the other.
- However, ETBU changed things up with just 10 minutes remaining in the match as Max Ponticorvo found the back of the net on a free kick to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead.
-Moments later, Daniel Rutter extended the Tigers lead to 2-0 with an 85th-minute goal.
- Belhaven was unable to mount any points, falling by a final score of 2-0 inside the Belhaven Bowl Stadium on Thursday evening.
