JACKSON, Miss. - The 2017-18 Belhaven men's basketball team etched themselves into school history on Tuesday night by breaking the school record for three pointers made in a single game with 19 made three pointers. Led by Isiah Brown, whom tied the school record with seven individual three pointers made, and Rick Hodum, whom finished with six three pointers, the Blazers were able to dominate Pensacola Christian College en route to a 105-77 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After being behind 4-3 within the first two minutes of play, the Blazers offense would go on a 12-0 run, giving the green and gold a 15-4 lead with 14:59 remaining in the first half.
- PCC would take the next seven minutes of the ballgame to chip themselves back into the contest as an Eagles jump shot would tie the game up at 27-27 with just 6:34 left to go in half number one.
- The Blazers would close the first half on a 21-6 run, which was sparked by 13 points from Isiah Brown. At the half, Belhaven led 48-33.
- Belhavens offense dominated the game as the green and gold would score ten points in the first two minutes of the second half, giving Belhaven a twenty-one point lead by a score of 58-37.
- The second half was led by Isiah Brown, Rick Hodum, and Jonathan Durham whom combined for eleven of Belhavens thirteen three pointers made in the second half. 
- With 1:55 remaining in the game, Belhaven found themselves ahead by thirty-three points, 105-72.
- The Blazers would go on to win by a final score of 105-77 over the Eagles.

KEY STATISTICS
- Two school records were broken on Tuesday night. Belhaven broke the previous record of 16 three pointers made in a game by surpassing that with 19 three pointers made tonight. 
- They would also break the previous record of 37 attempted three pointers with 44 attempted three's tonight.
- Kyle Patterson Sr. and Jonathan Durham finished with 10 and 12 points, respectively. Durham finished with a team high seven assists and 4-9 from three point land while Patterson finished with a team high five steals. Patterson would also end his night with five assists.
- Rick Hodum ended the night with 24 points, 19 of which came in the second half, and 6-15 from behind the arc. 
- Isiah Brown was a force from the beginning for the Blazers. Brown finished the first half scoring 25 of the Belhavens 48 points. Brown would cap off his night with a season and career high 38 points. 
- Isiah Brown would also tie the school record for three pointers made in a game, by an individual, with seven three pointers made in Tuesdays game. Browns 38 points would also rank him among the top five for points scored in a game in Belhaven history.
- As a team, Belhaven would shoot 50.7 percent from the field and 43.2 percent from behind the arc.
