HOW IT HAPPENED
- UT Dallas shot 62 percent from the field throughout the contest on timely buckets all across the perimeter.
- Early on, Belhaven maintained its composure and hung in with the Comets by trading baskets.
- Isiah Brown knocked down a three midway through the first half to pace the Blazers' offense.
- UTD lead by only one possession at 23-20 with 6:22 to play before halftime.
- However, the Comets would go on a tear to end the half, which lead to a 22-8 run and a double digit lead at 45-28.
- Turnovers hurt the Blazers' in the second half, as UT Dallas would only continue to extend their advantage out.
- The Comets started the second half on a 17-3Â run and never looked back as they pushed the lead up to 62-31.
- UT Dallas forced 16 steals on the evening and wound up leading by as much as 49 by the end of the contest.

- Jonathan Durham, Rick Hodum, Justin Jones, and Joshua Roberts each scored eight points apiece to lead the Blazers in the scoring column.
