HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a back and forth game early on as the Blazers and Wildcats found themselves knotted up at 7 6:23 remaining in the first quarter.
- After
Lauren Brooks' layup and
Kelsey Brown's three-pointer, the Green and Gold extended their lead to 12-7.
- The Blazers remained in the lead until Kourtney McGhee hit a three-pointer to give the Wildcats a 15-14 advantage.
- After another clutch bucket from
Kelsey Brown from behind the arc, the game was tied up at 17 apiece with 1:40 left in the first quarter.
- The Wildcats caught a spark and went on a 9-1 run to end the first quarter.
- The Blazers struggled on offense in the second quarter, as the Wildcats outscored the Blazers 23-9 to bring the score to 49-27 at halftime.
- After a sloppy third quarter from both teams, LC ended the quarter going on an 8-2 run to make the score 62-36.
- The Green and Gold would ultimately fall to the Wildcats by the score of 83-47.

KEY STATISTICS

Kelsey Brown led the Blazers with 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Brown also went 40 percent from behind the arc.

Lauren Brooks finished the evening with 11 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Kimberly Calhoun led the team in the rebound column with six. She also scored nine points and had two steals.

India Sims tabbed six points and five rebounds. Sims also dished out two assists and finished the night going 2-for-2 from the free throw line.

Brittany Ford added five points, five assists, two steals, and grabbed three rebounds.

Susanna Reese chipped in two points and one block in the contest.
- As a team, the Blazers had 14 points in the paint and 10 points off of turnovers.
