HOW IT HAPPENED

- In what was an intense game from the very beginning, the Blazers and Majors traded leads multiple times to start the game and continued this way throughout the.

- With 15:50 left to play in the first half, the Blazers held a tight lead at 12-11. They would extend their lead to 15-11 off of a Jonathan Durham three-pointer to give the Blazers the biggest lead by either team up until that point.

- Belhaven gained all the momentum and would continue to stretch their lead to 25-14 with 10:59 to go in the first half.

- For the next 10 minutes, Belhaven remained in control as they led 44-35 with five seconds left in the half. A last second foul sent the Majors to the free throw line to sink two free throws, trimming the Blazer lead down to seven at the half.

- The Blazers continued to dominate the game as they would regain their 11 point lead with a score of 50-39, just three minutes into the start of the second half.

- Millsaps would quickly catch fire and go on a 13-3 run to trim the Blazer lead to only one point with 12:35 remaining on the clock.

- With 9:51 left to go, Millsaps would eventually take a 59-57 lead. They would extend their lead to eight in a matter of seconds.

- Yet, Belhaven showed there was plenty of fight remaining in them as they would work themselves back into the game and regain a 67-65 lead with 4:58 left.

- The two teams would trade leads for the remaining four minutes of play. With the score all knotted up at 73-73, this heavyweight fight would need overtime to decide the outcome.

- Millsaps looked to be in control straight out of the chute with a quick three-pointer to give the Majors a 76-73 advantage.

- However, Belhaven could not be denied in this rivalry matchup as they would go on a 12-5 run in the remaining four minutes of overtime to give the Blazers an 85-81 victory over their cross-town rival.
