HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blazers got off to a slow start, making one of their first four shot attempts, with Brent Webber draining a shot from behind the arc to make the score 3-3.

- The Yellowjackets then went on a 7-0 run, before Jonathan Durham nailed a three-pointer to bring the score to 10-6.

- After two made free throws by Victor Price, the Green and Gold trimmed the lead to just two points with 11:16 remaining in the first half.

-  With 9:59 remaining until halftime, the Blazers tied the ballgame up 23-23, after an Isiah Brown three-pointer.

- The Blazer's shooting began to heat up, going on a 15-6 run to take the lead 38-29 with 4:08 remaining until the break.

- Belhaven would then go into intermission leading 51-37.

- After a Joshua Roberts three-pointer, the Blazers extended their lead to 15 points with 17:39 remaining in the game.

- The Blazers would go cold on shooting and Howard Payne would capitalize going on a 22-9 run to bring the score to 65-65 with 10:11 left in the game.

- After some costly calls late in the game, the Green and Gold could overcome the deficit, falling 96-84.

KEY STATISTICS
- In the game, 14 of the 16 Blazers on the active roster scored in the contest.

- Brent Webber led the offensive attack for the Blazers scoring 12 points with all of his points coming from behind the arc.

- Kyle Patterson Sr drained 10 points on 2 for 5 from the field, 6 for 10 from the line, and three rebounds.

- Tommy McCoy and Traevian Leatherwood each had seven points, while Leatherwood also had two assists and one steal.

- Isiah Brown, Victor Price, Jonathan Durham, and Rick Hodum each had six points. Hodum led the team in rebounds with four.

- Terik Richardson, Justin Jones, John Works, and John Loris each tallied five points in the contest.

- Joshua Roberts and Gian Van Heeringen rounded out the scoring for the Blazers with Roberts gaining three points and Heeringen getting a point and three rebounds.

- As a team, the Blazers shot 45 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from behind the arc.

- The Blazers also had a 59.5 percentage from the free throw line.
