HOW IT HAPPENED
 
- The Blazers and Eagles played in a back and forth battle for the first 20 minutes of action.

- The Blazers accumulated a seven-point lead halfway through the first quarter.

-  Kelsey Brown drained 3 three-pointers to score half of Belhaven's points in the first quarter. At the end of first quarter, the score was 19-17, with Emory having the advantage.

- The Green and Gold tied the game up at 21-21, with 8:10 remaining in the second quarter.

- Kelsey Brown put the Blazers in the lead 24-23 after she drained her fourth 3-pointer of the half.

- The Eagles started to heat up and went on an 11-2 run to close the second quarter and head to halftime, with the Eagles leading 34-26.

- Emory University opened the second half on an 8-3 run, to bring the score to 42-29.

- The Blazers closed the third quarter on a 5-0 run to make the score 56-42.

- Cora Cooley got the Blazers started in the fourth quarter after he nailed a jumper from inside the arc.

- The Blazers struggled to get a shot to fall in the basket after the Eagles went on a 10-6 run to lead the Blazers 72-49.

- In the final four minutes of the game, the Blazers went on a 5-0 run to bring the final score to 72-53.

- Offensively, Kelsey Brown led the Blazers with 15 points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Brown also shot 5-8 from behind the arc.
