ABILENE, Texas- The Belhaven University men's soccer team picked up their fifth tie of the season on Saturday evening at McMurry University in a scoreless 0-0 draw in American Southwest Conference play. 

With the tie, Belhaven moves to 1-6-5 overall on the year and currently holds a 1-4-2 record in ASC play. 

After the conclusion of today's match, the Blazers have now been held scoreless in five of their matches during the 2017 season.

Both teams combined for 22 shots during the match, but no goals were to be found on the pitch. 

As a team, the Blazers posted eight shots throughout the contest, four of which were on-goal.

Ryan Thomas registered two shots on-goal, while Sam Joy and Jack Cutler each tallied one shot on-goal. 

Goalkeeper Bailey Hart collected five saves in the match.

McMurry notched 14 shots during the course of the match, with five shots on-goal. 

Belhaven will next take on Mississippi University for Women next Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
