JACKSON, Miss. - Belhaven women's soccer fell to the defending American Southwest Conference champions Hardin-Simmons, 6-0, Thursday evening at H.T. Newell Field.Â
Kristen Parrish finished with a hat trick for the Cowgirls, scoring twice in the second half. Kami Jones and and Josey Meyer added a goal each while Haylee Foster and Olivia Hartman recorded two assists each.Â
Hardin-Simmons (6-1) peppered the Belhaven (1-5) goal with 23 total shots.
Jessica Mahoney recorded the lone shot of the game for the Blazers.Â
Alexis McDonald made three saves in goal for the Green and Gold while
Erika Smith collected four saves.Â
Belhaven will look to rebound on Saturday when they host McMurry University. Kickoff is tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m.Â
