JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven volleyball team prepares for its matchup with William Carey Tuesday night inside Rugg Arena. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
The Blazers are coming off a 1-2 week, with a victory against Miles last Tuesday night before falling to Texas-Tyler and No. 11 Texas Dallas in ASC play.Â
William Carey, who is no stranger to Belhaven Athletics, added volleyball as its 17th varsity sport this past winter. In their first season, the Crusaders are 5-7, with wins against Xavier (La.) in non-conference play and Loyola (La.) in conference action.Â
This is the second matchup against NAIA institutions this year, with the Blazers defeating Lyon at the Belhaven Classic on Sept. 10.Â
