JACKSON, Miss. - The Belhaven volleyball team gears up for the matchup for Division II opponent Miles College Tuesday night in Birmingham, Ala.

This is the first meeting all-time between the two schools in program history. In 2016, the Blazers are 0-1 against Division II opponents, falling to the Choctaws of Mississippi College on Saturday night at the Belhaven Classic. 

The Blazers finished off a 3-1 weekend at the Belhaven Classic inside Rugg Arena. Two of their three wins were in straight sets. The Green and Gold, after a 1-3 weekend in Atlanta to open the season, finished with 149 total kills on 55 errors, good for a .229 attacking percentage. With the superb percentage, the Green and Gold now have a posted a .144 overall attacking percentage. On defense, Belhaven held their opponents over the weekend to a .109 attacking percentage. Thanks to the sparkling defense, the Blazers are third in the ASC with a .123 percentage.
