JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Men's Tennis team cruised to a 9-0 victory over Tougaloo College Friday afternoon at Parham Bridges.
 
The Blazers jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the doubles matches. Rafael Siqueira and Pawel Tarasewicz had the cleanest victory, defeating Percy Ford and Cameron Grewell 8-0.
 
Gabriel Da Costa and Tomas Ojeda topped Keith Holmes and Duran Yates 8-1, while
Rene Ramos and Omar Lopez defeated Jon Burton and James Coleman 8-2.
 
In singles competition, Ivan Alberto Kerkoc, Marcus Creese, and Dylan Throgmorton all picked up 6-0, 6-0 vicotries.
 
Ojeda and Ramos each defeated their opponents 6-1, 6-0 and Tracy Hilaire defeated his opponent in singles play with a 6-0, 6-1 win.
 
Belhaven will return to action on March 9, hosting ASC opponent LeTourneau University at Parham Bridges.
