JACKSON, Miss. – The Belhaven Blazers Women's Basketball team fell to No. 5 ranked University of Texas at Tyler, 46-76, Thursday night in Rugg Arena.
 
Candler Gregory led the Blazers in scoring in the contest and was the only member of the Green and Gold in double figures. Gregory finished with 15 points, adding a rebound, an assist, a block, and a steal.
 
Gregory also connected on three shots from behind the arc, extending her streak to 22 straight games with at least one three pointer.
 
Jacinda Smith led the Blazers on the glass, recording 10 rebounds in the game. Smith also had a team high five blocks and finished as the second leading scorer with eight points.
 
Jasmine Brown and Erika Smith each had three assists for the Blazers and finished with six and five points, respectively. Brown also finished second on the team with six boards.
 
The Blazers will wrap up their 2015-16 home schedule on Saturday with senior night at Rugg Arena against LeTourneau University. Tip off is set for 1 p.m. against the Yellow Jackets.
