JACKSON, Miss. - Six different players scored Saturday afternoon for the Behaven women's soccer team as the Blazers rolled to a 7-0 victory over Louisiana College. 

Belhaven's seven goals scored was a season-high, and is the most scored by the Blazers since the 2013 season. The team's' 29 total shots and 16 shots on goal today are also both season-highs. 

Louisiana College was able to hold the Blazers scoreless through the majority of the first haf, but with just over six minutes to play Erica Rempel found the back of the net to give Belhaven a 1-0 advantage. 

Less than two minutes later, Savannah Raines netted her first goal of the season to put the Blazers up by two goals heading into the halftime period. 

Belhaven continued to put the pressure on the Wildcats to begin the second half, and found three goals within the first 17 minutes of the period. Amber Thomas scored on a free kick in the 50th minute and Jessica Mahoney scored goals seven and eight for the season in the 57th and 62nd minutes, respectively. 

Jordan Morse and Reagen Hern each recorded their first career Belhaven goals with less than 10 minutes remaining to round out the scoring for the Green and Gold. Suzanne Dease assisted on the Morse goal while Morse collected the assist on Hern's goal. 

Mahoney and Rempel led the Blazers with six shots each while Alex Trammel added four shots. 

Alexis McDonald collected four saves in goal and tallied her third shutout of the season. 

Belhaven improves to 5-10 with the win while Louisiana College falls to 0-13-2. 

Next up, the Blazers host the University of Texas at Dallas inside Belhaven Bowl Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 27. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m.
