MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Belhaven men's soccer suffered a 3-0 road defeat to Berry College Saturday afternoon in Mount Berry, Ga.
Graham Wall scored the first goal of the game for the Vikings 20 minutes into the first half off of a deflected corner kick.
Ten minutes later, Dale Stones, assisted by Sandi Jusic, scored the second goal of the game to give Berry a 2-0 advantage. Steven Moore added a third and final goal near the end of the second half.
Belhaven recorded nine total shots and three shots on goal while Berry tallied 13 shots and nine shots on goal.
John Dunbar led the Blazers with three shots.
Josh Gates made four saves in goal for the Green and Gold.
Belhaven drops to 2-6-1 with the loss while Berry improves to 6-5 on the year.
Next up, the Blazers return home on Thursday, Oct. 6 for their first game inside the new Belhaven Bowl Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. versus LeTourneau University.
