PINEVILLE, La. – The Belhaven Men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Louisiana College on Saturday in non-conference action.
 
In doubles action, the teams of Daniel Duarte/Alexander Puyol and Thomas Ojeda and Rene Ramos picked up 8-0 victories over the opposition.
 
Omar Lopez and Rafael Siqueira also picked up a win, defeating Caesar Romo and Parker Burt 8-1.
 
In singles play, all six five Blazers picked up two set victories. Five of the Blazers picked up 6-0, 6-0 victories.
 
Siqueira was the only Blazer without a complete sweep in singles action, defeating Andrew Sylvester 6-1, 6-0
 
Daniel Duarte defeated Caesar Romo 6-0, 6-0 and Laclan Puyol topped Guillermo Barbosa 6-0, 6-0, as well.
 
Omar Lopez beat Pedro Silva 6-0, 6-0, while Rene Ramos defeated Victor Souto 6-0, 6-0. In the sixth and final game, Thomas Ojeda swept Parker Burt 6-0, 6-0.
 
The Blazers will now get ready for the Auburn University – Montgomery Invitational tournament to be held March 6-8.
