NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Belhaven Blazers Volleyball team dropped its non-conference matchup with Xavier University of New Orleans Tuesday night, falling in straight sets.
 
The Blazers played to close games, but fell by scores of 19-25, 20-25, and 20-25.
 
Chae Levy led the way for the Blazers, finishing with 10 kills while Lauren Whiting and Molly Boyer each had seven kills in the match.
 
Belhaven finished the night with a .120 attacking percentage.

Kelly Aholt led the way with a .286 attacking percentage, scoring two kills on seven attacks from the setter position. Aholt also had 30 assists in the match and finished with 14 digs.
 
Cassidy Fitzpatrick led the Blazers with 19 digs in the match and Abbey Herman finished with 11.
 
Whiting finished with a .278 attacking percentage in the game and also had the only solo block for the Blazers, who finished with 3.0 blocks as a team.
 
Belhaven will host LeTourneau University on Friday night at Rugg Arena. Senior day festivities will get things started with the match set for a 7 p.m. first serve.
