JACKSON, Miss.- The Belhaven Volleyball team fell in ASC conference play today against the University of Texas- Tyler Patriots.
 
The Blazers lost in three straight sets (17-25, 14-25, 16-25) in the afternoon matchup.
 
The leader in assists against the Patriots was sophomore Kelly Aholt.  Aholt collected 21 assists, bringing her career total to 1,063.
 
On the defensive end, junior Jackie Gunderson led the way for the Blazers in digs, collecting 14 through three sets.  Gunderson also two blocks and one assist. 
 
Cassidy Fitzpatrick also proved defensively efficient, collecting 10 digs.
 
Lauren Whiting gathered 6 kills, as Chae Levy and Molly Boyer each collected four.
 
The Blazers return to Rugg Arena on Tuesday, October 27, to face Tougaloo College.  The match is set to begin at 7PM.
