MOBILE, Ala. – The Belhaven volleyball team fell to Mobile in straight sets on Saturday afternoon. The Blazers fall to 12-19 overall on the season.
"We played well today, but Mobile was much better than us in all facets of the game," said head coach
Justin Dee.
Taylor Hall led the Blazers offensively with eight kills on 24 total attacks, while
Kelly Aholt assisted on five of the Blazers' kills.
Aholt also had a team best .667 hitting percentage on the afternoon.
Mobile's Sarah Van Wert and Bailey Nations finished with a floor high 10 kills in the match.
Jackie Rhyne's five digs led the Blazers on the defensive end, while
Blaykleigh Smythe tallied the lone solo block for the Blazers.
Belhaven will travel to Montgomery, AL to take on SSAC opponent Faulkner next Saturday at 2:00 pm in their final regular season match of the season.
