Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - The Belhaven volleyball team defeated Brewton-Parker College in three sets on Saturday, the second time this year the Blazers have swept the Lady Barons. After set scores of 25-22, 25-18, and 25-22, Belhaven improved to 11-14 on the season with Saturday's victory. 

"We didn't play well, but we played well enough to win. We need to give better effort in each and every match from here out," Head Coach Justin Dee said. "There are several things we need to fix if we want an opportunity to make the conference tournament."

Taylor Hall and Amanda Cherry led the team with nine kills apiece, while Blaykleigh Smythe added eight of her own. Kelly Aholt recorded 16 assists for the Blazers, while Jackie Rhyne paced the defensive side with 21 digs. 

Belhaven returns to action on Tuesday, when they will take on Jarvis Christian College in Shreveport. The non-conference match is set to begin at 4:00 pm.
