Mobile, AL-The Belhaven men's and women's tennis teams recorded key Southern States Athletic Conference victories on Saturday as both teams swept the University of Mobile and Spring Hill College.

The Belhaven men topped Mobile 6-1 and dispatched Spring Hill by the final score of 8-1. The Blazers are now 9-2 overall and own a 3-1 Southern States Athletic Conference record. Belhaven trails William Carey by a half game in the SSAC standings. The Belhaven women defeated Mobile 5-3 and then tallied a 6-3 victory of Spring Hill to run their 2011 season record to 10-2 overall and 3-1 in league play. Saturday's wins mark the first time Belhaven has defeated Mobile on both the men's and women's sides.

The Belhaven men will be back in action on April 1st at Huntingdon College at 12:00 PM. The women will compete again at home on April 2nd in a rematch against the University of Mobile beginning at 10:00 AM.
