Tougaloo, MS- The Belhaven Volleyball team took a win from cross town rival Tougaloo College on Monday afternoon in Kroger Gymnasium. The Blazers got off to a quick start and never looked back taking a 3-0 win from the Bulldogs with final scores 25-7, 25-12, and 25-3.

Belhaven improved their record to 17-7 with the win. The Blazers dominated the entire match led by sophomore Leigh A. Huddleston with seven kills and a .538 hitting percentage while Natalie Davis also chipped in with seven kills. Leading the team in digs was Zorzoli and O'Malley, who both had seven. Zorzoli also recorded three aces in the contest. Erin Bradley continues to be an impressive passer as she added another 23 assists to her total.

The bulldogs were led by Dayane Souza who had three kills and 14 digs.

The Blazers will be back in action on Tuesday at Rugg Arena against Southern States Athletic Conference rival Faulkner University at 7:00 P.M.
